vernon new jersey, opening weekend was sick, diablo knows what there doing thats for sure, every line is super smooth and flowy, and the Dh is amazing. IMO there building is rivaled by only one other bike park, and thats whistler. the easyest Dh on the entire mountain is what blue gives double black diamond status too. Leaps and bounds better than blue mountain, makes it seem like blue is an XC track. I recommend anyone who can drive the extra hours to diablo to do it, the time spent in the car is nothing compared to the hours of fun instore. (also if you cant drive and rely on parents... thers a water park beside it thats huge so im sure you could convice them to chill there while you ride, or drive like 45 minutes to new york city) I also wanna say that there are some kids there who can shred, there were little 12 - 13 year olds hitting the cannon, props to them, makes me wonder how these kids can shred so hard, and kids at blue break bones of little 3 foot drops. I also saw a dude who was like 70 shredding, mad props to him for tearing it up so hard. Jamis bikes was also at the opening, demoing there SS bike the parker, chillest guys ever, hooked us up with tools, a place to chill when it started raining sunday, and a bike to ride when my chain snapped (parker is an amazing bike for the price, probably the best bike on the market for a ratio of quality to cost, hell id buy it if it was more than a wildcard) Jamis knows what there doing with there bikes and there customer service,if your looking for a new ride id highly recommend a jamis. Overall Diablo is my definitly one of my top five favourtie bike parks.
