 IMO judging was fair brandon tricked every hit clean he slipped a pedal on the tail whip but so did cam on his off the highland quarter and didn't trick everything cam did a straight flip off the first hit semenuk did a truckdriver can did a nac on the satellite semenuk did a 3 cam did a 3 on the drop semenuk did it opp the frontflip was better than the straight flip but the flip whip was better then the flip barspin

 cam's tailwhip was just a filler off the highland quarter, semenuk's tailwhip was supposed to be the banger of his run off freebird but he screwed it up. You forgot to mention cam frontflipping freebird which is something i never thought would be done, i don't think a mellow jump that size has ever been frontflipped on a pedal bike. Bigger jumps have been tailwhipped on a pedal bike (see Cam's section in NWD 9 for example). Not to mention Tyler attempted to doublewhip it, and the french dude tried to flip whip it. Semenuk's run lacked wow factor as clean as it was.

 i completely agree with you on the frontflip i don't want to take away from that it was absolutely ridiculous but he had to skip the shred shed(pretty much) to do it the reason semenuk won wasn't because of one jump it was his run as a whole which is why he won

 Chase should have scored higher. If Berrecloth didnt have that mistake I think he could have been top 3. Cam should have taken first!!!!

 Sorry but judges dont know what they are doing. Clearly Cam had that. Overall use of course and way better tricks.... Oh well, another Rockstar Red Bull battle. I mean come on Red Bull can't stand it if a Rockstar rider won their comp. Same thing happened to a friend in FMX.

 just like last year for the kokanee crankworx in whistler, the claw did not qualify indeed a super good run just because he is a red bull rider and because his event "the bearclaw invitational" takes place nearly the crankworx --" because lasrt year the crnkworx was supported by monster energy moreover semenuk takes the second place and not the first --"

 Honestly aghodkin I really think both Semenuk and Cam's runs were amazing but Semenuk did several technically more difficult tricks than Cam's tricks. Truck-driver on a mellow step down? Opposite 360 on a 15ft. drop? Flipwhip on a massive double? Like you cannot say Cam clearly had that. A front-flip is a huck and pray move. I've seen people land front flips first try into foam pits. Super close competition though. It was wicked to watch.

 Yeah, Cams run was sick but Brandon tricked everything. Cam skipped a couple of opportunities, he would have taken it easy if he thrown even something small off one of those jumps he just straight aired.

 also why would they use a gopro for the follow cam? i know they sponsored it and all that but the quality sucks and they could have easily done a nice zipline follow cam

 I thought it was cool that they cut to the follow-cam, quality seemed fine, it's just not as sharp becuase they were broadcasting in SD. They do show a repeat from another angle.

Does anyone know if the helmet cam was sending a video signal wirelessly???

Trolly cam would have been best but that is a lot of extra work, you have to consider that the course is on a hill, and finding somewhere to tether the rope may have been to difficult to do, has to be motorized and everything too.

 lance McDermott has been doing front flips for years now and just because cam has learnt them there all of a sudden the greatest trick.

Just a little history, flipwhips were invited after frontflips.

 i think timing is irrevelant- very few can do frontflips while tons of people do flipwhips, shows the difficulty and risk. tons of bmxers do flipwhips, far fewer do frontflips.
