if they wanted more travel they'd go for demo's as usual, perhaps big hits, but i doubt that. the whole point of running sx trails is the shorter travel as they obviously feel it is adequate for that track.
peaty looked the fastest through the rocks on this vid and he is strong on the pedals so here's hoping its finally his turn for the rainbow jersey

peaty has to win! its his time
therl be plenty of other opurtunity for the other younger guys to win in the future.
i agree. no one expects much from him on this type of course but I think the ol' man o the mountain is due! whoever squashes these hits the best may give themselves a chance against Peaty on the pedally finish. can't wait to watch!
Anyone know if Steve Smith is there? BTW I'm with peaty on the choice of bike. People always run the short travel bikes at Sea Otter (which is probably less gnarly than this track) and the big bikes always take Sea Otter. Big bikes all the way.
Yes he is... at least he's on the entries list. Yo can watch the entire list here:

Sam doesn't have to prove himself, he's a WC regardless. Go on make it back to back in Oz if you want, I don't care, it's all about the sport. Tell ya what why did they choose Canberra...aka Canboring for a venue anyway? PS. Im heading home to Oz soon.
Well I will get flack for this but , Go Jamie Bulik, he's a Winnipeg boy and stops by the shop most times he's in town
not to burst anyones bubble but Steve Peat isnt going to win it...look back to last year and how he finished on that course (his only non podium race) Rennie or Blenkinsop FTW
sam hill is not going to win hes good but this is the worst possible track 4 him Peaty was looking good but he didnt do very good here last year here. I really want gwin 2 win or even top 5 america needs a good downhiller. even if he desont do good this year hes young and will still be around for many more years
i think Hill was fastest @ both splits for the timed practice run thursday. not race day but interesting.
I posted late. Dirtmag showed results for timed runs late last nite with Hannah, Hill, & Minaar the top three.
