3MG was good, but it didn't live up to the hype for me. Especially after I watched the entire WC season on freecaster... and the rider sections weren't much different from the teasers.

Stund was superb. Really, really enjoyed it.

I would agree. It almost felt like it was Gee's movie with a couple separate rider sections in there. And a lot of the footage was already in the atherton project. I mean it was good, but not worth all the hype.

would have thought 3min gaps would have done something about peatys world champ win considering it was said to be made over two race season but he only showcased one season

correct me if im wrong, but i got the impression it was filmed over the 2010 race season and then the rider parts over the offseason/preseason after.

Yeah that's what the movie was but on the box for the DVD it says it was filmed for two race seasons

Yes Inside Out was shorter than Follow Me but the quality of the film outweighed that by far. Follow Me didn't match all the hype and lacked any original feeling or cinematographic element.

flag stumper21 (Dec 29, 2011 at 20:18)
well the quality was good but the riding was not i was expecting great riding. and also the only god thing of the inside out was the part jumping the train.

but i stand my ground saying the at follow me was better

and i am really looking forward to the 3 minute gaps

i keep hearing inside out was too short, mostly dj (no offense to dj, its great but i like watching dh/fr more)...anyways, 3 minute gaps is cool and gives insight to alot of good riders, but very competition oriented. life cycles is artsy and amazingly done, but in my opinion nothing parallels follow me, just amazing. also, gordo i identified you first by your somewhat odd grammar and secondly by your name!!!! bahaha.....

From the Inside Out had one DJ/Slopestyle part which lasted about 3 minutes? Fair enough it was a bit short but only 3 minutes is Brandon Semenuk shredding but then the rest is DH/Fr

I think he means they have not yet released a full length film. Silvia most certainly makes good edits, and they have a film on the way!
Follow Me was the most disappointing film from a crew, it should have had more progression in riding and filming than Seasons did but didn't even come close!
Inside Out was sick, better short and good than long and filled in! Stund was also prime for a free series.

Love them all, however the NWD takes me back to watching all of them growing up, so that's my favourite. I even remember in the first one, I forget who it was, but there was a section of just manualing.

3 minute gaps was a huge disappointment compared with previous clay porter films. Went from being the only world cup documentarian to making new world disorder type videos.
