The bikes can handle much more of the stuff riders throw at them, and are lighter and stronger as well. Just look at a 2005 kona stinky, compared to a 2012 Kona entourage, a lot has changed
I am sorry to hurt you feelings men but I competed on sponsor Stab 2010 and it broked. They are lighter but not stronger. I ended with Santa Cruz V-10 and then never had any broblems with. I do not dh any more as busted my knee on motocross dirt bike. Now I am thinking to do Megaavalange in France on Santa Nomad.
